The focus of S2 lies more on the hadn map single player maps.
Problem is that there aren't many good (and english) maps around yet.
Start mapping yourself.

Ask Dc how many codes do he have to write with blitz basic to make a counter strike 2d guy move foward
Making a sprite in B3D move forward is quite easy and doesn't need much skill. However, scripting in Stranded II requires even less skill.
