Re: Isometric (2.5D) Voxel EngineAlistaire User Offline 11.02.12 08:43:13 pm I've got an Intel i3-2100 core so it's not that huge specs. Maybe quadcore processor and ati videocard make difference

Well, I only came up with a method to reduce the memory within voxel lists. I still have a problem with real-time lighting. At the moment I'm not programming because of other stuff that bothers me lately. I thought to use this engine in worms3D/3rd person shooter game.

Re: Isometric (2.5D) Voxel EngineMechanolith User Offline 11.02.12 10:23:07 pm Well, i don't understand a single thing about engine and advanced programming, but when i saw this image: I instantly thought about Minecraft, a game like Stranded or Minecraft, with pixelart-like graphics would amazingly fit this imo.
Re: Isometric (2.5D) Voxel EngineDannyDeth User Offline 12.02.12 05:56:57 am Well, I second that Joap, but Minecraft/Stranded aren't exactly MMO's.

Re: Isometric (2.5D) Voxel EngineSQ Moderator Offline 12.02.12 01:46:00 pm Minigolf Madness 2...5, anyone? Joke. Stop suggesting. It's on-hold right now as I have to do other stuff. Even though, I'm going to continue on this, I need someone work on graphics/images, can't really find experienced people for that role.

Re: Isometric (2.5D) Voxel EngineSQ Moderator Offline 12.02.12 02:03:11 pm Makes images for voxel engine is as much as doing artwork. I'll need to construct all that into 3D pixel objects. So yeah, textures, however first I would need to have some sort of concept arwork of the game look, which is hard to make.
Re: Isometric (2.5D) Voxel EngineMajatek User Offline 14.02.12 01:46:27 pm Either or it's still a pretty engine.
