everything you need is there.everything.

and if you mean it is on the Lan list,TOO:

thats normaly. if you creat a server on your pc its normaly that the server ist listed in Lan.

edit: great with sv_lan 0 you did ONE THING from the manual. great only about 20 other things to do for you!

i can look into future and can read your mind and see all problems. i have a vision. i see a router without port forwarding..... ....mayby this can be your problem?ps: my vision is 99% right

oh yeah and please create more threads about your nobody-can-join-my-server problem........

To do that simply type your routing number into your "Mozilla Firefox" internet browser or other. You will gain access to the routing settings that way, in which you can easily port-forward the CS2D port.

A routing number looks kind of like this: 192.168.0.0.
Your router has a routing number(command center for your router's settings) implemented within your router. A number like that could be something like: 192.168.2.1.

But all routers are not the same in fact some are different and have different routing numbers, so you must find it. I found mine, just type in your router's name into google search engine and search for how to get access to the router's settings by entering a few keywords. Like "Linksys router settings" and you will immedietly get some results you need.

This info might help you with routers such as linksys, if you have other router then look for it on google as mentioned. Then learn more about port-forwarding and then port-forward the CS2D port in the router settings and apply, and you're basicly done. You might need to reboot for changes to take affect, I don't know.

Everything u do on the dedicated server follows what u do on the 'new game' settings. For example, when u press the new game button there are a bunch of settings like 'fog of war', 'server transfer', AND 'offline/LAN' and if u tick the offline/LAN your dedicated server will only show in the LAN list. So u gotta untick the offline/LAN thing and then reopen the dedicated server and u sould be able to see it in the online list. I found it out the first time i start a dedicated server.

BTW I forgot to mention that u gotta start the new game and quit game then u can start the dedicated server. it should work then...

If you are running it from a computer on your home network/on your pc then it will show up in LAN, just ask a friend to try and find your server's name from another house and use filters to make sure they have the best chance of finding it.

I've read + has some parts that I did not understand ...
I ask them to do a video explaining that it is more efficient.
