Ham Radio ( correctly Amateur Radio ) is a pass time adopted by many people over the world in which you communicate with others over the radio ( not the kind you switch on and start square-dancing to ). WE have certain frequencies of which we are allowed to communicate on. We also have rather nifty call signs, mine's ZU1RDK. ( i ahvent written my ZR yet so very few people will hear me on the HF bands ). So that about sums it up. Btw ZU license is equivalnt to technician license in america.
