No, I think that isn't a hack.
It's a bug, and my suggestion is to fix it. But before, I wanna know HOW?
Could it be possible to add shaking of a player in some way? - In example: when firing a rifle and the recoil shakes the player a bit?
I also want a command for shaking of players, I tried Tehmasta's lua script but it doesn't work when I tried it. But could it be possible to add some sort of shake as a command?
or are you talking about rotating the player and changing the spot at which he aims? this is directly controlled by the mousepointer position and I'll not change/extend that in any way. sorry.

I ment if you could add command a "screenshake" in which a player id gets their screen shaken by chosen time and strength of the shake.the player already does shake by recoil. your animation doesn't show the actual in-game animation.

For example:
shake "1" "0/1-60" "30"
The command, player ID, time "0" for infinite(never ending) and goes from 1 second to max 60 seconds long screen shake, power of shake 30%.
Is that possible to code into CS2D by any chance?

MiroslavR has a mod called Shadow of War 2D (SoW) for the old CS2D in which this is realised. It was my idea! but MiroslavR programmed it. It is really cool execution, when players lose health to around 30 hp they are bloody until they are healed. blood on people. I mean, blood can be on the walls, by shooting people nearby them. Why can't be the same with people? It should look like nice - a terrorists which is all in blood.
idk... maybe a stamina thing that'll slowly run out as you run so you'll have to walk until it refills or something.

Just as a extended function for func_dynwall.
Melee + Firearm = Both knives and weapons can trigger entity.
Melee = Only the knife can trigger entity.
Firearm + The whole weapons range except from the knife can trigger entity.
Is it possible?

I think it should have a "credits.txt" instead of some credtis at Readme.txt.
Like credits to some people that had really important suggestions. I know that hundreds of people suggested here... so the most important ones.. and at the end "And thanks to lots of others...."

Yes. I saw that Soldat consideers Chainsaw as a melee.
And how about a grenade hit (HE & Flash, because Smoke would be nonsense)?
Like, hook (not with Lua) that function.
Making trigger_hit with options:
Hit: Fire weapon
Melee weapon
Grenade
And in the place of the would be checkboxes, if 3 selected, whatever it hits is triggered.

The lua script i posted requires AMX2D and for you to have logged in as an admin or above.
it works fine for me
