-Camstudio 2.0
with -CamstudioCodec 1.4
The codec allows you to play any game with dark videos and non laggy
if you gave a suggestion can you link me the site or download?
Best recorders ever made are: zd soft recorder, FRAPS, bandicam.
Now about each recorder:
ZD soft: If you have computer from 2000th(1 core processor, 80GB hdd space, bad gpu etc) this is the best program to use. You can set virtually every detail concerning video quality from all video codecs present in computer to custom resolution. It even detects xfire codec if you install it. So customizing for max FPS is the best with ZD soft.
FRAPS: A basic recorder for people who buy ridiculously expensive computers and doesn't understand a shit about them. It has only basic settings so even a child can install it and start recording straight away with terabytes sizing movies as a result. If you don't have ridiculously expensive computer don't even try it - recorded sound will go off sync after few minutes of montage.
BCam: A professional recorder for decent computers. It is super efficient and has options dedicated specially for youtube(you can choose quality as 320p 480p etc..) and for vegas pro(you can choose PCM sound codec so vegas pro will recognize it unlike MPEG-11.2) Recorded files are already compressed so their sizes are same as compiled vegas pro videos, thus sound will never go off sync. 1minute of recording in HD equals 200MB. Also you can not only hide recording mark but set it's exact location.
Extra: xFire free recorder - it is same as FRAPS, a bit harder to use but free and has a bit less sized files.
but make good quality videos
It is however only for Windows ("*.exe" executable file)
An example of what you can do with it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuRzvglFD7g

Screen Capturer [link] is exactly like Fraps, but free, more flexible, can record the desktop (not just games that render with DirectX) and as a result is capable of recording flash games.
