i think you want cs2d to be almost like the other counter strike versions, just in 2d. it's no huge thing, but when you're playing cs:s for an example you're always allwed to freespec the whole map when every teammember is dead, isnt added here. in 2d it depends to the specmode set, but even when you're just allowed to spectate your own teammates (which is the important thing) the "spectating cam" just stops on the place where the last teammate died. it wouldnt make a big difference to the gameplay at all but it will be more like counter strike.

so the main thing in short:
> changing the spectatingmode when every teammember is dead automatically to "free look" without Fog or war

Many people here have trouble connecting to USGN. Some restart CS2D, some go to net settings, removing one word from login/password, then typing it again. I suggest a button in main menu (preferably under USGN status) which will reconnect you to USGN. Not a simple login check, but dropping all the incoming & outcoming packets and sending them to USGN again.

I LOVE how there is a ctrl+z option, but it would also be nice to have ctrl+y to redo stuff.

Maybe add a image (defined by the server) in the download screen, like CS 1.6 does.
Make the weapon power measured by joules.
Make the weapon range by meters, and 1 meter could be 1 square.
Possibility to view bobbing.


This is not related to CS 1.6, but those are ideas at all.
- Possibility to record movies
- Clickable links in chat
- A debug screen (like Minecraft) It would help scripters/mappers

Add a option for the time where the laser mine will uh... open? I think lasermines activates its line thingy after 2-3 sec.. So what i'm asking is to have an option to make it longer or explode instantly when its planted.
