On the site i can log in, no problem.
However as soon as i go to cs2d and try to log in, it doesn't. I enter the same login/password, and it says Failed to login!
I have tried changing the password many times.
Reinstalled the game.
For some reason it just doesn't work.
While we had usgn system it worked perfectly. My usgn# 13181.
I've looked at some similar threads to mine, and it seems the have other troubles occurring at the same time. I don't have anything wrong with my cs2d except the fact that I can't login. Nem User

Remember that it's case sensitive. Something like 'pain' wont work. tried it in lower/upper case.... all the variations... Doesn't work Quote
Firewalls!
- CS2D needs full internet access for the login to work!
- Configure/disable all software firewalls (if you have any)
- Configure/disable the Windows firewall (if you are using Windows)
Other important points
- Make sure that you are using your UnrealSoftware.de user name and password
- Make sure that your account is activated and working (login at UnrealSoftware.de)
- Open the console for detailed error information
- Make sure that your firewall (+Windows firewall) allows CS2D to access the internet
- The login is CASE SENSITIVE!
- Maybe the U.S.G.N. is down. Check the state at USGN.de (try again later if it's down)
Other possible solutions
- Restart CS2D
- Restart your PC
- Disconnect from the internet and reconnect
- Restart your router
- Pause all uploads/downloads and quit programs which are using the internet
Nothing helps? Try to change your password!
- Login at UnrealSoftware.de
- Open the profile (link is at the top right corner of the page)
- Click "Change Password" and change your password
- Wait at least 5 minutes
- Try to log in in-game with your new password!
Tried everything except those two..
Gonna try those tomorrow, due to the late night.
- Re-install CS2D to another location (do NOT install to C:\program files!)
- Configure/disable all hardware firewalls (if you are using a router or comparable hardware) Create another account, eh? Admin/mod comment

? Use your UnrealSoftware account name and password, not USGN. Maybe your usgn is 13181 but your user ID (it is used now instead of USGN) is 14150. Yes, Nemesis said that, but maybe you misunderstood him... oxytamine, will try. thanks

I do realize the difference between the usgn, and unreal software account, thank you. I was just giving the reference to usgn account and that it was working perfectly.

Created new account, and wow, it works. For some reason i guess system doesnt like my account "Pain" . Which can be deleted now. But I'd rather have that name.

Omg, you just made the WORST thing you could do. Creating a second account ist STRICTLY forbidden. Seems like it doesn't help you, because we've got to ban both accounts now. Very well done. Nice one Pain, like TKD said, you have just done the worst possible thing you could of done. Accounts don't just get 'removed' they get banned. The last person that did this was Polygon3D, he had 2 other accounts. He asked DC to remove the other two, and guess what? They all got banned. I agree with both, and nice one, you told us that you have another account now Sure, ban another player that played since 0104. Go ahead. will see how many people out of that 400 people population will be left.
Very inappropriate for you guys to come up with FAQ that does not work for some people. And yet ban them for trying something on their own decision. pain i had that same probem 100% i could not login and then i renamed my self and it worked

Or maybe you should solve this problem for us before demanding stuff. I had to make another account as well after changing passwords 3 times. You're always blaming it on the stupidity of the user but there's just something wrong and I'm sure hundreds of people made a new us account because of this.
I'm backing up Pain, fine ban me again and the few sensible people that are left playing this game.
