All i get is the message that either "are you sure you have the right mod" or "stranded dir/mod files are missing"
Is there something really easy that im missing? Can someone Please give me step by step instuctions? Thanks

When I put it in objects_buildings file, and write new id for it, and run stranded it says "id between 1 and 255 expected!". So there is only two free slots??
But when I do same to extension mod, I can put id 1000! so where is the broblem?
And I don't know can I use extension mod in my mod... can I?

About your problem, create a file named "objects_mymod_buildings.inf". Maybe it will work then.

The Second has written
And new guestion: How can I make the player dive deeper?
Open the game.inf in the mods/Stranded II/sys folder, look for the line;
dive_time=20000
dive_damage=10
Change it to dive_time=40000, and this will double the dive time.
If you're talking about the limit of depth on a map, you'll want to click the "lower terrain border" button in the map editor. This looks like an arrow pointing down next to a square, if I remember correctly. This will lower the limit to depth imposed by the map's default settings, and allow the player to go further down, along with everything else.
